The Westinghouse WATS200 Automatic Transfer Switch gives homeowners a smarter path to automatic backup power for a fraction of the cost of traditional permanent standby systems by reducing equipment, site prep and installation costs. The WATS200 is a new and innovative way to get automatic standby home backup using a compatible Westinghouse Smart Switch Ready generator. This 200 amp transfer switch communicates with both your generator and your utility power to keep your home ready for an outage. It automatically starts your generator and transfers power to your home outlets. When utility power returns, it automatically switches back and shuts the generator down. It also keeps your generator's battery charged, so it's always ready to power up automatically. The WATS200 offers serious home backup generator capability with service entrance rated design, a NEMA 3R indoor/outdoor enclosure, ETL Listed to UL 1008 and integrated A/C load management. Many Westinghouse generators already have a Smart Switch Ready outlet and are ready to upgrade to automatic standby. Comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
